'Undertale' 是 Undertale 原声带的第71首音轨。于主角穿越新家的 Asgore 的家时播放。主角在此会了解 Asgore、Toriel、Asriel 及第一个人类的背景故事。本音轨是由"很久很久以前"、"回忆"和"他的主题曲"的旋律组合而成。
- 此音轨在游戏档案中被分成
mus_endarea_parta及mus_endarea_partb两个部分。第一部分会在主角于楼上时重复播放，第二部分在地下室时会重复播放，直到主角到最后回廊前的一半时停止重复。 - 此音轨在游戏中以85%倍速播放。与原声带的播速一样。
- 此音轨为原声带中播放时间最长的音轨。虽然拆开为两个部分的话，个别部分皆比"重逢"短。
- Undertale 的"原始版本有种更加阴沉的感觉，而且吉他是以完全不同的方式伴奏。据托比‧福克斯所言，受到动漫电影超时空甩尾中的"Redline Day"激发了他重新创作并重新编写吉他的伴奏[1]。新创作的伴奏也成为"回忆"和"他的主题曲"的基础[2]。

- ↑ Before the song "UNDERTALE" was completed, it went through a completely different iteration. This version sounds a bit more sad, which I think would have been less effective. It wasn’t until I heard a certain song that I was inspired to completely change the chords and guitar accompaniment. This new guitar accompaniment then served as the basis for "Memory," so we have a lot to thank that inspiring song for. That’s all of the unused songs.
